When your tooth suffers a decay or cavities, we aim at trying to fix it with a filling, crown or other dental treatments. Trying to save your natural tooth is our first step, but when there’s too much damage and your tooth cannot be repaired, it might need to be extracted from its socket in the bone. You might also require extraction when your mouth is too crowded with crooked teeth.

A normal extraction is a non-invasive procedure in which the tooth that can be seen in the mouth, is loosened by our dentist with an instrument called an elevator. Then the forceps are used to remove the tooth.

We at Al Sawai are sensitive towards our patients’ suffering and try and work out a treatment plan for even post extraction, that will be appropriate and effective for them. Our doctors do a thorough examination to see where the problem lies and how can it be best treated. You can book an appointment or visit us directly at our hospital for a consult.
